Clinker built of white oak.
Denis writes "I am near the end of the restoration of a Folkboat that I bought in a
sad state last year. My restoration work has included new sheer strakes,
carlings and deck plus lots of scraping,sanding, painting..... and a new interior.
I hope to have the boat ready, except for the interior by the end of next week (11th
August 2000). Assuming a survey gives me the go ahead I hope to be back on the water
in a few weeks. I will send a photo when it is afloat. I will keep the boat at Lough Ree
Yacht Club in Athlone, where I live" |
