This trophy was presented by John McAusland in memory of his son Ian who, in his mid
20's, was lost at sea in the 1970's. John based in Lough Swilly (N ireland) sailed Allegro
FB474 from 1969 to some time in the 1970's.
The trophy is awarded to the best performing boat from Ireland
